Paint Protection Film, aka PPF or Clear Bra, is the ultimate protection that your car can get!

PPF is generally made from clearcoat, polyurethane, and acrylic adhesive. The acrylic adhesive is a clear and flexible adhesive that is applied in order for the film to stick to your car's paint. The polyurethane layer is the middle layer that is almost like a rubbery substance that protects your car from scratches, rock chips, and other damage that may occur while you're driving. This layer also has "self-healing" properties where it will heal itself from light scuffs and scratches under some heat (ex. sunlight). The clearcoat layer is what gives that extra bling and also contains hydrophobic properties just like ceramic coating which creates a barrier against road contaminants, bird droppings, and bug splatters that makes cleaning your car easy and gives your car an extra bling.

How is TKDETAILS different from other installers/shops?
TKDETAILS has been trained by certified, high-caliber trainers in the country where the ultimate goal is to provide the best installation experience possible.

Custom (Bulk) Installation
TKDETAILS installs PPF through Custom (Bulk) installation. Just like the name says, we cut a big custom film piece that extends beyond the length and width of the car panel. This allows the film to be installed completely seamlessly (where applicable), in most cases, hiding the appearance of the film entirely. This means all possible edges and corners will be wrapped properly, and any trim pieces and/or badges will be removed to maintain a uniform appearance throughout the car. While some may question the standard pattern install or pre-cut installs that other installers or shops claim, this isn't the case. With a lot of inexperienced installers and rushed jobs, there may be improper alignments that put large gaps around the edges, paint being cut from inexperienced installers rushing, and exposed corners that give a "dirty" look. In a custom installation, there are enough materials to comfortably install in intricate areas thus eliminating these problems. Custom Installation is a preferred install method from TKDETAILS.

Wrapped edges/corners
As mentioned above, wrapped edges and corners are crucial parts of having a clean PPF installation. By covering all possible edges and corners, you get the most seamless application possible thus creating an invisible protection that is undetectable by the eyes.

Proper Prep Work
PPF is not just something you can just slap on and call it a day. It needs a lot of attention to detail in order to accomplish and clean installation that will last long. By having thorough and proper prep work, the film will be installed correctly and effectively, providing an excellent installation for your car. The proper prep includes decontamination wash, polish to remove light existing swirls and "cleaning" the paint, and stripping any existing wax or contaminants that can interfere with the installation.

Pricing will generally be dependent on the type of car you have. This is because each car uses a different amount of film and has different difficulties, requiring more or less film or time to install.
