You don't want your car to be damaged from the sun which can cause oxidation, fading, and cracking, resulting in ugly paint. Waxes and sealants act as sunscreen to your car, keeping the paint protected from the sun and road elements, and keeping the gloss and shine as it came out of the showroom.

 

Here's our process:

 

1. Decontamination Wash to thoroughly clean your car's surface.

2. Thoroughly clean painted surfaces using a dedicated surface prep solution to ensure proper product bondage.

3. Apply layer(s) of protection of your choosing by hand

Wax (up to 3 months protection):

Carnauba wax is a natural tree wax that comes from the carnauba tree that acts like putting a fancy lotion on your skin. It has will protect the car from the sun's harmful UV rays and have great hydrophobic(water beading) properties which will repel water, pollution, bugs, and more on your car with intense shine and wet look.

Sealant (up to 6 months protection):

Sealants are synthetic and made with a polymer that bonds to the paint. Unlike wax whose main ingredient is a natural element, sealants are designed and formulated such that it creates a stronger bond to the paint, hence providing longer-lasting protection. As a bonus, it gives an exceptional shine and weirdly addicting sleekness to the paint.

You probably thought if 6 months were enough for your car. TKDETAILS got you an answer to that. With the wax and sealants that work like bread and butter, this combo will get you longer protection with a deep gloss. Another layer of wax can be added in conjunction with the above combo for maximum protection. Think of this as you're wearing a jacket on top of your t-shirt.

Do you come to me?

Yes. TKDETAILS offers a mobile detailing service that can be performed at your home, apartment, or your work location.

 

How long will they last?

It depends on how your car is stored. If it is garaged at home and/or work. Most of the time, it can last up to the durability claimed. If your car is always sitting outside in the sun, cold, and rain, it will be much shorter. You can extend the durability by layering wax and sealant together.

 

The durability of wax and sealants are reduced if you wash your car with dish soap since they start stripping the protective layer that wax/sealants provide.

 

Do you need access to water or power?

Nope. All washing process is done as waterless/rinseless wash that is safe on paint which does not scratch your paint and help save the environment by cutting down unnecessary water usage.
